Academic & Course Offered:
Academic is used to describe work or a school, college or University that places emphasis on studying and reasoning rather on practical or technical skills. This is related to schools, colleges and universities. Whereas teaches and researcher does conforming to set rules and tradition. It is associated to studies such as language, philosophy, pure science by rather than applied, technical or professional studies. This is connected with an academy or especially of higher learning of curriculum and academic courses or it is linked to performance in courses of study academic excellence and academic achievements.
Admission Procedures:
1. Admission process: As per norms and procedures of Bodoland University SCERT in regarded to admission in to B.Ed., D.El.Ed. And B.A. course the applying candidates wil have to qualify entrance test centrally conducted affiliated body.
2. Course Offered and Intake Capacity: At present college offering two years B.Ed. course (semester) under Bodoland University, D.El.Ed. SCERT, Assam and B.A. course under Bodoland University. As per NCTE norms total intake capacity is 100 for two years B.Ed. course and 50 seats for the 2 years D.El.Ed. course, 60 seats for B.A. 3 years degree course. The Director of education deputes in service teachers every years for professional development of the teachers.
a. Eligibility for 2 years B.Ed. course Graduate or above with 510 percentage marks.
b. 2 years D.El.Ed. Course higher secondary or above with 50% marks.
c. 3 years degree course, B.A. higher secondary passed.
d. Relaxation of marks for ST/SC/OBC/MOBC 5% relaxation.
Reservation for permanent resident of Assam for both the programs (course) will be as per reservation policy of affiliating Body.
Date of Admission:
1. Course wise date of admission will be notified in the college website and notice Board. Admission of waiting list candidates will be held on the date notified by the college after the completion of the dates of selected candidates.
Commencement of the class:
Commencement of class attendance of trainees and students in the class, practice teaching, group discussion etc. are compulsory. The trainees attending individual classes up to 75%.
College office hour: The College office hour of the college is from to 10:00 am to 4:30 pm and the class starts from 10: 00 am onwards. College runs the classes with the active academic environment.
E- Prospectus:
College provides E-prospectus in the college website during the admission. The students have to collect it through which they can have information about the rules and regulations of the college.
